Accessibility

FreakInTheSheetsPlus wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What this site provides

• Keyboard navigation. Every link, picture gallery and form works without a mouse, with a visible focus outline and a Skip to content link on the first Tab press.
• Screen reader support. Pictures carry descriptions, the sheet tables have real headers, and form messages are announced when they appear. The decorative spreadsheet at the top of the home page is hidden from screen readers.
• Readable text. Colours meet WCAG AA contrast, and pages reflow when you zoom to 200%.
• Motion control. The site honours your device's reduce motion setting.
• Accessibility options. The round button in the lower-left corner of every page lets you enlarge text, switch to high contrast or a dyslexia-friendly font, underline every link, and turn off animation. Your choices are remembered.

Checkout and the spreadsheets

Purchases happen on Etsy, whose checkout is covered by Etsy's own accessibility program. The spreadsheets themselves are Excel workbooks, and the cells you type in are marked in yellow.
